Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The role supports our structural team on projects across oil and gas, helical pile foundations, and power generation.

You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to design development, calculations, coordination, and standards development while working with experienced engineers. This internship is ideal for a student who enjoys problem solving, learning by doing, and contributing to meaningful project work in multiple

Qualifications

• Current engineering student with at least two years completed in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, take initiative, and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple assignments simultaneously, managing tasks independently while collaborating within a team.
• Assist engineers and CAD designers with project documentation, calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Perform basic structural engineering calculations under supervision of licensed engineers.
• Develop and revise structural drawings and details.
