Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Houston, TX, to assist lead engineers with design tasks, data entry, documentation, and project support across markets including Oil, Gas & Chemical.
You will learn standard engineering techniques, contribute to continuous improvement, and present solutions to project concerns while maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA. ABET accreditation and campus/community involvement are valued.
Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures. This includes standard design of engineering systems, correcting and updating designs, assisting lead engineers with various project duties, and other duties as assigned. The Oil, Gas & Chemical group is responsible for the planning and design across the energy landscape. This includes project execution for midstream, refining, liquefied natural gas and chemicals, with a strong focus on energy security, biofuels, carbon capture, hydrogen and solutions that advance a sustainable energy future.
