Job summary

Varda Space Industries in El Segundo, CA, invites you to join the Vehicle Integration & Test team as a Spring 2027 internship. Interns will support hardware design, integration, and verification for spacecraft and reentry systems; on-site in Los Angeles area and full-time during January–May per university schedule.

You will gain hands-on experience with flight hardware, test operations, and real-time problem solving, bridging design and flight under guidance from aerospace professionals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in any discipline.
• Modeling/Assembly CAD experience.
• Previous internship or co-op preferred.
• Experience on technical project teams (Rocket Club, Formula SAE, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Own or contribute to hardware or software design to support spacecraft or payload.
• Develop and support system test campaigns.
• Perform analysis to support development and verification efforts.
