Tier4 Group seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a cloud-connected platform spanning web, mobile, and IoT. This player-coach role balances architecture decisions with people leadership, guiding a team of ~6 engineers to deliver business-critical initiatives.

You will stay hands-on in architecture discussions while driving delivery, collaboration, and engineering excellence across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and connected-device systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience managing software teams.
• Hands-on software engineering background with architecture input.
• Proven experience delivering and scaling cloud-connected platforms.
• Strong experience with GoLang and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading full-stack teams across backend, web, and mobile tech.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, monitoring, and production ops.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~6 software engineers.
• Drive execution across multiple product initiatives to meet business goals.

• Partner with Product, Operations, and Customer Success to align priorities.

• Champion CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and security practices.
• Support cloud-connected applications and scale IoT-enabled solutions.
