Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Development for HR Applications to lead multiple software teams delivering secure, cloud-enabled enterprise HR and related systems. You will set architectural direction, drive modernization and DevSecOps practices, and partner with business leaders, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and IT leadership to achieve agile, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive software engineering/technology delivery experience.
• 5+ years leading high-performing software teams.
• Experience managing enterprise app portfolios (HR, finance, SaaS) and migrations.
• Strong Agile leadership and cloud technologies experience.
• Familiarity with security, risk, compliance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications, integrations, workflows, reporting capabilities, and SaaS platforms.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and technology standards.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define application roadmaps, modernization strategies, and investment priorities.
• Promote modern engineering practices including API-first development, cloud-native architectures, automated testing, code reviews, reusable components, and continuous integration and deployment.
• Provide leadership and guidance for complex technical, operational, and production support challenges.
