Job summary

Enventure Global Technology Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shop Technician to assist with setup, teardown, and basic configuration of test equipment and fixtures.

You will move, measure, and secure tooling and assemblies, maintain clean, safe work areas, and support testing operations with instrumentation and data recording. The role requires practical mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to read drawings and follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Must work safely in an industrial environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in shop, manufacturing, fabrication, oilfield, mechanical or industrial environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic MIG/TIG welding experience preferred; formal welding training not required.
• Proficient with computers for routine work (MS Office, email, data entry, forms).
• Able to read and follow written procedures and drawings; record measurements accurately.
• Experience with forklifts, cranes, pressure-testing equipment, instrumentation, or data-acquisition systems is a plus or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, teardown, and basic configuration of test equipment, fixtures, tooling, instrumentation, and test assemblies.
• Move, position, measure, and secure tools, parts, pipe, and test assemblies using hand tools and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain work areas, test bays, tools, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of tools and components using drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and guidance from technicians or engineers.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, forklifts, overhead cranes, grinders, saws, and other shop equipment as trained.
• Support technicians during testing operations, including staging equipment, connecting basic instrumentation, recording test data, and monitoring equipment.
• Perform basic MIG and TIG welding and light fabrication as needed; prior hands-on welding experience preferred.
• Use measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and assist inspections.
• Enter or update shop, inventory, inspection, or test information using MS Office and company systems; organize records and data.
• Follow safety rules and job safety analyses; identify and report equipment issues and safety concerns.
