Job summary

Enventure Global Technology in Katy, TX is seeking a hands-on Shop Technician to support daily shop and test-area operations. You will assist with equipment setup, teardown, basic fabrication, assembly, and handling of test assemblies, working closely with technicians and engineers.

Ideal candidates have a practical mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow technical drawings and procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in shop, manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and safe tool use is essential.
• Welding experience with MIG/TIG is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup/teardown and configuration of test equipment.
• Move and secure tools, parts, and fixtures with hand tools and material-handling gear.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform basic inspections.
• Assist with welding/fabrication and follow drawings and work instructions.
• Record test data and organize electronic records as directed.
