Job summary

Gibraltar Industries is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee all shipping and receiving activities for the department. The role includes supervising personnel, verifying shipments, and prioritizing tasks to meet customer demands.

You will work with production supervisors, ensure order accuracy and timely transactions, and conduct safety audits. Hybrid and remote work options may be available; candidates must have strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years shipping/receiving, manufacturing, lead, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, PRMS, RF Scanners.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork and cross collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to meet daily shipping schedules in high volume traffic on multiple shifts.
• Estimate product, equipment and staffing to meet departmental schedules.
• Manage warehouse efficiently to maximize storage and flexibility.
• Inspect, train and monitor employees for safety and performance policies.
