Job summary

Gibraltar is seeking a shipping helper to aid in loading and storing products for shipment or warehousing. You will verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of items and complete required paperwork while following 6S standards.

No supervisory responsibilities; you will locate products, retrieve, stage, build pallets, load on trucks, and maintain safety and organization. A forklift license may be required. Hybrid/remote work options and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read English and basic math.
• Forklift license may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locate products based on orders and location codes.
• Retrieve products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Stage and organize products in the staging area.
• Build pallets to size; operate power tools as needed.
• Load, pack and organize products on trucks.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain safety procedures.
• Maintain 6S organization and cleanliness.
• Observe safety protocols and report hazards.
