Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School in Worcester, MA is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and construction across school facilities.

The role requires hands-on work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related systems, with the ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate to leadership or licensed trades as needed. This is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years in maintenance or related field.
• Hands-on experience in multiple skilled trades.
• Experience in school or institutional facilities preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance throughout school buildings and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, roofing.
• Carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repairs.
• Assist minor renovations and construction not requiring licensed trades.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with campus operations.
• Set up and breakdown for school events and maintain safety.
