Springfield Public Schools (MO) is seeking a Maintenance Worker II in Facilities to support the educational process through skilled and unskilled maintenance. The role involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, roofing, and various equipment repairs across district facilities in Springfield, MO.

Immediate starting date with potential for night shift and journeyman status. The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and

Formación

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Receive assignments and travel to multiple district facilities to make repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair or replace kitchen equipment to ensure proper operation and food safety compliance.
• Assess and make necessary repairs and replace parts on district equipment as needed.
• Install new replacement equipment when appropriate.
• Assess and make repairs to security systems, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and other fire and security related equipment to ensure compliance with codes.
• Paint, stain, varnish, and make drywall repairs and installations; construct new walls/partitions when appropriate.
• Safely use power tools, testing equipment, and other computerized equipment.
