Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering for the San Diego Mission Bay Resort. You will work closely with the Director of Engineering to drive positive change, elevate standards, and lead the engineering team of an 18-acre resort.

You will manage preventive maintenance, recruit and develop a diverse team of skilled technicians, and actively support the resort’s Green Initiative while ensuring safety and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in building maintenance.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience leading teams in a hotel or resort setting is required.
• Union environment experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute proactive Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Recruit, train, and motivate a diverse engineering team (HVAC, plumbing, electricians, etc.).
• Support and advance Green Initiative efforts to reduce environmental impact.
• Elevate property condition, safety, and guest experience through detail and collaboration.
• Foster a positive, high-energy work environment.
