Expo is building the mobile AI infrastructure teams use to create, ship, and operate great apps. We are a remote team of builders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and G&A, and we value hiring exceptional people who expand what Expo can achieve.

We are looking for a hands-on Recruiter to work directly with leaders to define exceptional performance, build a hiring process, and close candidates for our most important roles.

Qualifications

• Hands-on recruiter with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, GTM and G&A leaders.
• Proven ability to evaluate technical talent and assess cultural fit.
• Experience building scalable sourcing systems and improving recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

• Define what exceptional looks like and design a hiring process that reveals real ability.
• Personally source, recruit, assess, and close candidates for Expo's most important roles.
• Build a proactive sourcing engine that reaches candidates not actively looking.
• Partner with leaders to understand business needs behind each hire and define performance expectations.
• Improve onboarding and lightweight people systems to support a small, high-output company.
• Coach managers on hiring, role clarity, and difficult performance decisions.
