ManpowerGroup is seeking a Record Center Specialist in Urbandale, IA to support daily order processing and storage movement. The role emphasizes physical work, safety, and precise handling of storage boxes, using a handheld scanner and a proprietary system to locate and track items.

The position requires lifting 10–100 lbs regularly, standing and moving through various motions, and following detailed labels and instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 10-100 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, kneel, and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to read and write English to follow labels, instructions, and order requirements.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders and safely load/move hand carts and other material handling aids.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing orders by locating, moving, and arranging storage boxes, bins, and totes.
• Manually lift, carry, and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to support accurate order fulfillment.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids, including shrink wrapping at ground level or on carts.
