Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Record Center Specialist in Omaha, NE to maintain and process physical assets stored in our warehouse. Responsibilities include handling incoming/outgoing orders, scanning barcodes, and ensuring accurate paperwork while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, working on your feet all day, and occasional travel between facilities. A warehouse/physical environment background and basic computer skills are desirable for success.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming orders; scan carton barcodes and locations in Safekeeper system.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies; manifest orders and prepare for shipment.
• Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork.
• Communicate any difficult order issues to the manager.
• Inspect and maintain equipment such as Telxon scanners, wedge, Safekeeper terminal and ladders.
• Collaborate with team members and observe safety procedures.
• Perform all physical requirements without assistance.
• Travel between facilities when necessary.
• Mentor others as opportunities arise.
