Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Quality & Process Engineer to support plastic sheet extrusion operations in Ohio. The role blends quality engineering with floor-level process improvement, collaborating with operators, maintenance technicians, and site leadership.

The engineer will investigate quality concerns, troubleshoot production issues, and drive improvements that reduce scrap and improve product consistency. Second shift: Mon–Fri, 3:00–11:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, Polymer Engineering, or related.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot quality and process issues on extrusion lines.
• Investigate internal and customer quality concerns through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scrap reduction, productivity, and product consistency.
• Partner with operators, maintenance, and leadership to implement sustainable process improvements.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and process documentation.
• Support trials involving new materials, products, and equipment.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
