Job summary

PLASKOLITE, LLC is seeking an ambitious, hands-on engineer to join our manufacturing team as an Extrusion Quality & Process Engineer on the second shift. You will work directly with production operators and maintenance to solve real process problems, improve product quality, and drive operational performance on our plastic sheet extrusion lines.

This role offers immediate impact with a 12–24 month developmental assignment, opportunity for advancement into roles such as Process Engineer,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines listed.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of quality and process issues on extrusion lines
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Investigate customer and internal quality concerns
• Support process optimization projects focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and product consistency
• Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation
• Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods
• Work closely with operators to improve manufacturing performance
• Support trials of new materials, products, and equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
