Plaskolite is seeking a Quality & Process Engineer to join our Zanesville manufacturing team. You will work with production operators and maintenance to solve process problems, improve product quality, reduce waste, and drive performance on extrusion lines.

This is a second-shift role (Mon-Fri, 3 pm-11 pm) with direct impact from day one on our active lines. The role offers exposure to polymer processing, extrusion technology, quality systems, and lean manufacturing, plus opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; recent grads encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Desire to learn and grow into leadership roles.

Responsabilités

• Lead troubleshooting of quality and process issues on extrusion lines.
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate customer and internal quality concerns.
• Support process optimization projects focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and product consistency.
• Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods.
• Work closely with operators to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support trials of new materials, products, and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
