Job summary

AeroVironment offers a Summer Internship Program designed to immerse students in our QA/Manufacturing Development processes. Interns will work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, contribute to meaningful projects, and build relationships with AV team members.

The program is selective, with roles across multiple locations in the United States. You will gain experience in MS Office, Minitab, drawing interpretation, and SolidWorks inspection while supporting quality engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in college/university pursuing a technical/engineering degree during internship.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent required.
• Onsite full-time availability for 8–12 weeks.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or asylee/refugee status per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues.
• Use Calipers and Micrometers for dimensional analysis.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions with team.
• Receive detailed instructions under supervision.
• Work with software tools in your area of expertise.
• Participate in quality inspections, investigations, and process audits.
