Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. in Bluffton, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead a Quality Technician and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

You will own ISO 9001 certification efforts, interact with customers on quality issues, and help document and improve quality processes with minimal bureaucracy. Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position.
• Experience with a formal QMS (ISO or IATF).
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ISO 9001 certification activities, including compliance, documentation, audits, etc.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues.
• Complete customer-specific quality paperwork and documentation.
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics.
• Lead RCA and corrective actions; implement countermeasures.
• Communicate status of quality to internal teams and external customers.
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system.
