Job summary

GNR has partnered with a long‑standing aerospace materials distributor seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager to own the QMS across multiple sites in up‑state New York. You will lead quality and safety, drive process improvements, and ensure AS9100 compliance while interacting with customers and suppliers.

The role reports to the President and requires residing in the Buffalo area. The position emphasizes hands‑on workflow, procedure drafting, floor calibration, and ongoing quality control across

Qualifications

• Strong QUALITY experience with tight compliance requirements.
• Identify and LEAD initiatives; update processes & procedures, and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance for AS9100 audits & certifications.
• Monitor key metrics, investigate/resolve quality issues, and help reduce costs.
• Very hands-on position - draft procedures, walk the floor, calibrate equipment as required.
• Current/prior experience with AS9100 standards & compliance for aerospace/defense customers.

Responsibilities

• Own QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM across multiple sites in up-state NY.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and update procedures.
• Maintain and improve supplier quality streams as required.
• Support AS9100 audits and certification processes.
• Collaborate with customers & suppliers, report to President.
