GNR has partnered with a long‑standing aerospace materials distributor seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager to own the QMS across multiple sites in up‑state New York. You will lead quality and safety, drive process improvements, and ensure AS9100 compliance while interacting with customers and suppliers.

The role reports to the President and requires residing in the Buffalo area. The position emphasizes hands‑on workflow, procedure drafting, floor calibration, and ongoing quality control across

• Identify and LEAD initiatives; update processes & procedures, and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance for AS9100 audits & certifications.
• Monitor key metrics, investigate/resolve quality issues, and help reduce costs.
• Very hands-on position - draft procedures, walk the floor, calibrate equipment as required.
• Current/prior experience with AS9100 standards & compliance for aerospace/defense customers.

GNR has been retained by a 50+ year old, very stable, and growing AS9100 materials distributor in need of a “hands‑on” QUALITY MANAGER. You’ll own the entire quality & safety program for the company, across multiple sites in up‑state NY - must reside in Buffalo area. Reporting directly to the President, you’ll collaborate with everyone throughout the organization, including customers & suppliers. You’re accountable for QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM / QMS, and improve standards, processes and procedures, quality control, certifications, audits, safety, and product inspection, etc.

RESPONSIBILITES & EXPERIENCE:
