Job summary

Hooper, an established electric power and mechanical contractor headquartered in Wisconsin, seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead the company’s quality program across mechanical construction projects. You will develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans to ensure compliance with codes and client expectations.

The role requires 5–10+ years in construction quality management with HVAC, piping, and related systems; familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10+ years in construction quality management.
• Certifications such as CWI or ASNT Level II/III preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, IPC, UPC, NFPA and related codes.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, ACC.
• Leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA/QC plans for mechanical construction.
• Lead site inspections and quality audits.
• Mentor QA/QC personnel on project teams.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and reporting.
• Prepare high-quality performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, and clients to resolve issues.
