Job summary

Southern Orthocare, Inc. in East Tennessee seeks an entry-level Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician Assistant to join our technical team. You will assist fabrication, modification, finishing and repair of patient-specific devices under supervision.

You will learn plaster casting, vacuum forming, material handling, and lab organization while supporting Lead Technicians and Clinicians to ensure on-time delivery and high craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, finish, and repair prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Assist Lead Technicians and Clinicians in fabrication and clinical care.
• Meet due dates, maintain lab organization, and ensure safety and quality.
• Learn plaster casting, plastics heating, vacuum forming, and lab procedures.
