Job summary

Southern Orthocare is seeking a Lab Technician to support the fabrication of prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic devices. The role involves working with the Clinic Manager, Lab Manager, and Practitioners to ensure timely, accurate delivery of devices and high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of O&P lab experience and a team-oriented mindset, with solid computer skills for document and email communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working in an O&P lab, with experience in Prosthetics, Orthotics and Pedorthics.
• A team player with a can-do attitude, esp. in challenging cases and circumstances.
• Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Support fabrication of prosthetic, orthotic and pedorthic devices.
• Work to meet due dates and deadlines; ensure accuracy the first time.
• Keep the lab clean and organized; report to Lab Manager.
