Actalent is seeking a Production Test Engineer to support integration and testing of complex electronic warfare and radar systems on our Syracuse/Liverpool campus. This hands-on role blends software and hardware, performing production and system tests and troubleshooting to ensure reliable system performance.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams across electrical, software, and hardware interfaces, using MATLAB and MS Office in a 9/80 onsite schedule in Liverpool, NY.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology.
• Experience with Linux or Linux-based systems.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting technical systems.
• Hands-on assembly skills for hardware and system-level builds.
• Knowledge of integration testing for complex systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic engineering concepts.
• Ability to support both software and hardware integration tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary systems engineering team.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on software and hardware integration on production and system platforms.
• Follow procedures to execute system, integration, and production tests.
• Troubleshoot issues across electrical, software, and hardware interfaces.
• Use Linux-based environments for testing, data collection, and basic admin tasks.
• Assist with radar and electronic warfare system testing and data analysis.
• Analyze test results using MATLAB and MS Office and prepare technical reports.
• Support procurement by coordinating with stakeholders and materials readiness.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, software, and hardware teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test procedures and methods.
• Participate in upgrading legacy systems with new technologies and support new R&D programs.
