Job summary

BLOX, LLC is seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead in Bessemer, AL to guide a manufacturing team on the floor. You will drive safety, quality, and timely delivery while coaching operators and ensuring standards are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience manufacturing or construction preferred.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measure and basic measurement tools.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees on the floor.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet production goals.
• Drive continuous flow through safety, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine quality checks to minimize rework.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Identify and elevate constraints.
• Ensure that standard work methods are followed.
• Maintain 5S standards and improve them.
• Ensure tools, parts, and materials are supplied to maintain flow.
