Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment, a Division of Franklin Electric, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a small two‑person team on the production floor. You will drive daily plant operations, safety, quality and on‑time delivery while building standard work, work instructions and production tracking from the ground up.

You will train and coach employees, onboard new hires, and shape how the facility runs, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in business, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in production, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse work required.
• 2–3 years of supervisor or lead experience preferred.
• Experience setting up or improving processes preferred.
• Ability to do physical, hands‑on work, including standing and lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, ERP or inventory system a plus).
• Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two‑person team on the production floor, guiding daily plant operations and safety, quality, delivery and efficiency goals.
• Train, coach, onboard new hires, and support team growth and success.
• Build and improve systems from ground up, including work instructions, standard work, production tracking, inventory and safety routines.
• Maintain accurate production, quality and attendance records and ensure compliance with safety rules and policies.
• Set the tone through clear communication and by leading by example.
