Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead multiple manufacturing departments on the 2nd or 3rd shift. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production by guiding employees, coordinating workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to develop employees while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or associate degree or equivalent supervisory experience.
Minimum 3 years of Production Supervisor experience or 5 years in industrial manufacturing.
Plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with JD Edwards ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and schedule KPIs.
Monitor daily production performance and recommend process improvements.
Set and communicate daily and weekly production objectives.
Identify and resolve production issues with hands-on coaching.
Prepare work centers for smooth shift-to-shift transitions.
Assign work and manage employee responsibilities to maximize productivity.
Collaborate with Production Scheduling to optimize workflow and output.
Review and approve employee timecards.
Coach and develop production team members for performance and growth.
Train employees on safe operation of equipment and enforce safety policies.
Maintain compliance with standards and manufacturing procedures.
Ensure accurate production records, documentation, and reporting.
Provide supervisory support on other shifts as needed.
