Job summary

MPI is seeking a hands-on Production & Maintenance Manager to oversee daily plant operations in a small manufacturing environment. The role balances production leadership (approx. 75%) with maintenance management (approx.

25%), emphasizing equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, with proven ERP, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in production, operations, plant management, or maintenance leadership roles.
• Experience leading both production and maintenance functions in a process manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production scheduling, planning, and execution to meet customer and business objectives.
• Manage plant maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Provide leadership to production supervisors, lead operators, mechanics, and support personnel.
• Oversee capital projects, contractor activities, and facility improvement efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
