Sensical is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to support daily manufacturing operations and serve as the second-in-command to the CM Manager. This hands-on leader will guide supervisors and team leads, resolve production challenges, and keep daily operations safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes owning decisions on the production floor, developing people, and driving production performance while meeting customer demands. Strong leadership and collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience guiding supervisors or team leads on the shop floor.
• Ability to drive performance, enforce safety and quality standards, and manage staffing.

Responsabilités

• Support the CM Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and provide hands-on leadership.
• Directly assist with production activities when needed.
• Set daily priorities and communicate expectations to supervisors.
• Serve as a primary contact for operational issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Monitor WIP, staffing, and employee qualifications to optimize output.
• Support changeovers and troubleshoot production challenges.
• Make staffing decisions to reduce overtime and expedites.
• Coach supervisors on performance, attendance, and accountability.
• Enforce safety, quality, productivity, and workplace standards.
