Job summary

AtWork Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Production Lead to manage daily manufacturing operations on-site. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff development, and maintaining smooth daily production when meeting targets.

You will oversee assembly, packaging, and quality workflows, coordinate staffing and schedules, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance. Compensation is $24–$29 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly operations.
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in electronics assembly or automotive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities across assembly, specialty assembly, and packaging operations.
• Supervise, coach, and support production employees to meet daily goals.
• Coordinate staffing, production schedules, materials, and workflow priorities.
• Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve production processes.
• Support employee training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
