Job summary

Boon Edam Inc. is seeking an Assembly Tech Lead to guide the assembly team in a Lean environment in Lillington, NC. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and accurate mechanical and electrical assembly with emphasis on task coaching and production readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and experience with standard work and Heijunka boards, ensuring on-time delivery and quality products to customers.

Qualifications

• Must have steady, reliable experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading assembly or production teams preferred.
• Familiarity with lean daily management and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly team in lean daily management to ensure process execution.
• Schedule daily workflow using the Heijunka board and monitor standard work.
• Provide coaching and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Oversee quality inspections, troubleshoot issues, and document results.
• Coordinate task assignments to meet production schedules.
• Support training and verification of job skills.
