Job summary

LHH is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations, drive productivity, and reduce downtime across assembly and machining environments. This role is highly floor-focused and requires close partnership with operations teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency while supporting equipment reliability and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will lead continuous improvement efforts, analyze production data, and contribute to standardized work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
3+ years of manufacturing, production engineering, or operations experience.
Experience in machining, assembly, or high-volume environments.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S programs.
Analyze production data and KPIs to drive performance.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and assist with equipment reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve quality, safety, and operational outcomes.
