Job summary

Aerotek in Wentzville, MO is seeking a Production Assembler to interpret drawings, assemble and test products, and prepare items for shipment using hand and power tools. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and basic data entry in production systems within a small shop.

Heavy lifting is required; expect on-site work in a non-climate-controlled space moving toward climate control. This is a Contract to Hire position in Wentzville, MO with competitive hourly pay and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret basic production drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly in a production environment.
• Proficiency using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools for assembly.
• Capability to identify, rework, and repair non-conforming products to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMs and written instructions to assemble and test products.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, including panel wiring, using hand and power tools.
• Use hand-held tools to complete assembly safely and efficiently.
• Prepare products for shipment and assist with labeling and data entry in production systems.
