Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembler in Beloit, WI for a first-shift, contract-to-hire role. You will assemble power buggies and concrete leveling machines, wiring control panels and hydraulics, and perform functional testing.

You may support two facilities (Darien and Delavan) and transfer between sites as needed. The position emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical work with a focus on quality and safety in a climate-controlled shop environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of electrical assembler experience.
• Hands-on mechanical assembly and alignment work.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience wiring harnesses and control panels.
• Familiar with hydraulics and testing of machines.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Comfort commuting between two facilities (Darien/Delavan).

Responsibilities

• Assemble power buggies and concrete leveling machines from components.
• Install and route electrical wiring to panels and components.
• Connect hydraulic lines and ensure leak-free routing.
• Perform mechanical assembly per blueprints and specs.
• Read schematics, use diagnostics, and verify operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Complete builds within shift timeframes and test functions.
• Collaborate with a small team to meet weekly output targets.
• Travel between Darien and Delavan facilities as needed.
