Job summary

Great Basin Industrial, LLC is seeking a Processing Lead to maintain production flow in the processing department and machine shop. This hands-on leadership role actively operates equipment and coordinates daily activities of processing personnel and machinists.

The Lead ensures parts are processed accurately, schedules are met, and materials move efficiently between processing, machining, staging, and fabrication. Training and safety standards are emphasized on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years steel fabrication, plate processing, or machining experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and machining prints.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience using Tekla PowerFab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively operate department equipment to maintain production flow.
• Coordinate daily production activities across processing equipment and the machine shop.
• Assign work tasks to staff based on priorities.
• Provide shop floor leadership and ensure productivity and safety.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure correct labeling and staging.
• Track parts and production progress using Tekla PowerFab GO.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and department procedures.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
