Job summary

Resinall Corp in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, seeks a Process Engineering Co-op to join our Process Engineering team. This role gives an engineering student hands-on experience supporting manufacturing processes, monitoring operations, and troubleshooting processing challenges.

You will apply engineering principles to improve manufacturing methods, product quality, process performance, and equipment effectiveness while working within safety and cost guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two semesters in an accredited engineering program, preferably Chemical or Mechanical, with a 3.0 GPA.
• Ability to commit to minimum three co-op semesters alternating with school.
• Self-motivated with leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support the design and improvement of equipment, manufacturing processes, process controls and layouts.
• Conduct research, testing and data collection to evaluate processes and opportunities.
• Monitor process variables (temperature, viscosity, acid number, pressure) for control.
• Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot challenges and support safety, environmental, quality and cost objectives.
• Develop and maintain engineering tools and resources to support operations.
