Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
• Hands-on mindset with proven track record on production lines.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work with production, quality and maintenance teams.
• Experience with Lean techniques, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance of an assigned assembly line area.
• Spend the majority of time on the production floor examining equipment and processes to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality and maintenance to troubleshoot issues and optimize equipment performance.
• Implement process changes, modify operation standards, and apply Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production.
• Conduct capability and time studies, specify tools/fixtures, and participate in Kaizen events.
