Job summary

Martin Marietta's Bridgeport Stone Quarry is seeking a versatile Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production and equipment operation. This role offers hands-on work, strong teamwork, safety focus, day-one benefits, and OT opportunities with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year equipment operation, plant operation, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges/dials and make competent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant clean-up and lubrication.
• Assist with preventive and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Willing to cross train in all plant areas.
• Operate plant-specific mobile equipment (Bobcat, Kubota, RTV).
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain logs.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility.
