Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a dependable Plant Operator to join our medical waste treatment facility in Sturtevant, WI. You will operate specialized equipment, ensure accurate documentation, and follow safe processing procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in physically demanding roles in industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers.
• Operate the autoclave system for medical waste treatment.
• Load and operate the Washsmart container sanitization system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as trained.
• Lift containers up to 55 lbs regularly.
• Push loaded carts up to 200 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with a hardworking team to keep operations running smoothly.
