Job summary

Daniels Health in Sturtevant, Wisconsin is seeking a dependable Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility. You will operate autoclave and sanitization systems, handle waste containers, and help keep accurate processing records.

The role is hands-on and requires standing for long periods and working with a collaborative team. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with a competitive hourly rate of $24.

Qualifications

• Physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Experience in physically demanding roles such as warehouse or manufacturing preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift, move and transport materials throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers.
• Operate autoclave system for medical waste treatment.
• Load and operate Washsmart container sanitization system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Lift up to 55 lbs regularly and push carts up to 200 lbs.
• Maintain accurate processing records and required paperwork.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with a team to keep operations running smoothly.
