Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a dependable Plant Operator for our Sturtevant, WI facility. This role involves operating autoclave systems, waste processing, and regular lifting and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding work in an industrial environment.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or similar roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout a shift.
• Standing for 8+ hours and maintaining safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers.
• Operate the autoclave system for medical waste treatment.
• Load and operate the Washsmart container sanitization system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as trained.
• Lift up to 55 lbs regularly and push carts up to 200 lbs.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with a hardworking team to keep operations running smoothly.
