Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Plant Operator to safely operate and maintain natural gas and liquids processing facilities, monitor equipment, and support production goals.

You will start/stop equipment, prepare for maintenance with permits and lockout/tagout, assist with repairs, and keep safety and environmental records. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to teamwork in a hands-on industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings, diagrams, logs, dials and manuals.
• Knowledge of gas and liquids processing fundamentals.
• Ability to operate and maintain plant equipment safely.
• Capable of reporting safety and environmental concerns.
• Licenses/certifications as required by role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain processing plant equipment including compressors, motors, engines, pumps, turbines and treating systems.
• Monitor and control equipment operating conditions and performance.
• Start, stop and operate equipment; respond to process changes.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance (permits, lockout/tagout, decommissioning).
• Assist mechanics with repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain safety/environmental records and time sheets.
• Possibly perform DOT-covered functions and travel as required.
