Job summary

Green Era in Illinois seeks an experienced Maintenance Lead to manage plant maintenance, lead a small team of mechanics and contracted electricians, and stay hands-on with installing, aligning, and improving equipment.

You will drive preventive maintenance, manage CMMS, and supervise safety programs such as LOTO and OSHA 1910, while coordinating with licensed electricians and vendors. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; 8+ years in industrial maintenance required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of 24V-480V equipment and VFDs/controls.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for all plant maintenance and set clear team priorities.
• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of mechanics and contractors; manage budget and CMMS.
• Install, align, and maintain pumps, tanks, conveyors, and utilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMI/SCADA, sensors, and control logic.
• Drive preventive/predictive maintenance and maintain logs and parts usage.
