Qualifications

• Must be a nursing student with at least one inpatient clinical rotation.
• Placed into appropriate title and salary grade based on experience and education.
• Availability for 12 hours every 6-week scheduling period when school is in session, and 36 hours every 6-week scheduling period when school is not in session.
• Commit year-round to scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: bathing, feeding, toileting, transporting, ambulating.
• Perform nursing support tasks: vital signs, weights, intake/output, POCT, telemetry.
• Assist with physical, respiratory, and cardiopulmonary therapies as directed.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes to the RN.
• Maintain unit safety and infection control practices.
