Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Construction Specialist to keep MEP projects organized, efficient, and productive while gaining hands-on experience across trades on our site in San Francisco. The role offers training opportunities and potential career growth through our Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities include assisting with material handling, site prep, and general labor tasks under skilled supervision, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, outdoor work).
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades (MEP).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with material handling, unloading, distributing, and staging on site.
• Assist with site preparation and clean‑up, ensuring a safe, organized environment.
• Perform basic tasks: trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, equipment setup, tool handling under supervision.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams for general labor support across trades.
• Follow safety standards to maintain a safe worksite for all.
• Learn basic construction techniques to grow within the trades.
• Support documentation needs like labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting.
