Power Design Inc. in Oakland, CA is seeking a Construction Specialist to support MEP projects on site. You will help with material handling, site prep, trenching, pulling wire, and general labor tasks under the direction of skilled tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred.
• Able to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades (MEP).
• Strong work ethic and reliability; work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling, unloading, distributing, and staging materials on site.
• Support site prep and cleanup, maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
• Perform basic tasks such as trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, and equipment setup.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams as general labor.
• Document jobsite activities like labeling, inventory tracking, and reporting.
