Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Construction Specialist to support MEP projects on site, helping with material handling, site prep, and general labor tasks. You will work with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams to keep projects organized and productive.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience, training, and opportunities to advance through the Apprenticeship Program while contributing to a culture focused on safety, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or labor is preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work in varying conditions.
• Willing to learn and assist multiple trades (MEP).
• Strong work ethic, reliability and teamwork.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with material handling, unloading, distributing, and staging on site.
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup, ensuring a safe, organized work environment.
• Perform basic tasks like trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, equipment setup, and tool handling under supervision.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams for general labor across trades.
• Follow safety standards to maintain a safe worksite for everyone.
• Learn basic construction techniques to grow within the trades.
• Support project documentation such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting.
