Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is hiring a Construction Specialist to support MEP projects on-site, helping keep work organized and productive.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple trades and may participate in our Apprenticeship Program for ongoing growth. In this role, you’ll assist with material handling, site prep, basic tasks like trenching and wiring under supervision, and collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and outdoor work.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple trades.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with material handling on site.
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup to keep a safe area.
• Perform basic tasks like trenching, wiring, conduit support, and equipment setup.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams for general labor.
• Follow safety standards to maintain a safe worksite.
• Learn basic construction techniques for growth opportunities.
• Support documentation such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting.
